Systems Engineer – Cabin Interior, IFE and Projects

We're looking for a Systems Engineer to take ownership of the Cabin interior, In-flight entertainment system, various engineering projects and support in a reliable and compliant operation for our fleet.
About the position
As our Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe operation of your assigned area, ensuring that tasks and their associated intervals are appropriate to optimize aircraft availability, improve on-time performance and give our guest the best possible experience on-board our fleet.
Amongst others, your key responsibilities will include:
- Liaise with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and vendors on all associated engineering and contractual / spares provisioning issues including IFE, Avionics, Cabin Interior
- Assess and manage technical publications including Service Bulletins, Regulatory Authority information and Airworthiness Directives to maintain and improve the fleet
- Perform/Verify Weight and Balance calculations
- Follow up on reliability issues (Interior, Non-Airbus STC's and IFE)
- Support/answer questions regarding ATA 25 (Interior) from the organization, Flight Ops, Commercials, Flight Support, MOC and Technical department.
Who we are looking for
Must haves:
- AML-66, Engineering degree or similar experience within aviation
- GENFAM A321/A330
- HF/EWIS/CDCCL
- High proficiency in English
- Knowledge of Maintenance Information Systems
Preferred:
- Linux and Unix knowledge
- Typerating Airbus A321/A330
- AMOS/Conduce (ETL)
- Training/experience in Avionic systems (Safran and other Avionic suppliers)
