Product Manager, Ancillaries
Drive ancillary growth through product development, customer insights and commercial innovation. Join Sunclass Airlines and create value for our customers and our business.
Are you commercially driven and motivated by turning customer insights into products and services that create real value? We are looking for a Product Manager, Ancillaries to develop and grow our product and services portfolio across the customer journey, balancing customer experience with sustainable and profitable revenue growth.
About the position
As Product Manager, Ancillaries, you will be part of the Product, Ancillaries & Inflight Services team within our Commercial Department. The position is based in Copenhagen with the possibility of hybrid working.
You will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and growing our ancillary product and services portfolio. This includes both identifying new commercial opportunities and continuously developing our existing products and services to ensure they remain relevant, attractive, and commercially successful.
You will play a key role in strengthening our customer value proposition and driving profitable growth.
The portfolio includes products and services such as seats, baggage, lounges, fast track, and our Inflight Shop. You will work closely with colleagues across Customer Experience, Crew, Tour Operations, and other commercial functions, as well as with external partners.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Develop and optimize our ancillary products and services, including seats, baggage, lounges, fast track, and the Inflight Shop.
Continuously improve existing solutions to ensure they remain relevant, attractive, and commercially successful.
Identify new product, service, and revenue opportunities based on customer insights, performance data, market developments, and industry trends.
Lead new concepts from idea to launch, working across relevant functions and stakeholder groups.
Use BI reporting and performance metrics to evaluate profitability, identify opportunities, and support commercial decisions.
Drive the development of our ancillary offering across relevant sales channels in close collaboration with Tour Operations and other key stakeholders.
Manage and develop relationships with external providers and commercial partners.
Who we are looking for
You have a strong commercial mindset and experience working with products, revenue, or commercial development. You understand how to connect customer needs, data, and business opportunities, and you are motivated by turning insights into products and initiatives that create measurable value.
Must haves:
Relevant commercial experience within product management, product ownership, commercial strategy, product revenue, revenue optimization, or a comparable area.
A relevant degree or equivalent practical commercial experience.
A strong understanding of profitability, growth, pricing, and commercial value creation.
Experience using data, performance metrics, or BI reporting to identify opportunities and support decision-making.
The ability to interpret reports and challenge how data is structured, presented, and used, rather than simply accepting existing reporting at face value.
Experience driving initiatives across different functions and stakeholder groups.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
The ability to take ownership and move initiatives forward in a dynamic environment.
Fluent written and spoken English.
The ability to understand and communicate in at least one Scandinavian language: Danish, Swedish, or Norwegian.
We are looking for someone who is curious, proactive, and commercially minded. You naturally look for opportunities to improve products and create profitable growth, while keeping the customer experience in focus.
You work analytically and use data to guide decisions, but you are equally comfortable collaborating with different stakeholders and turning analysis into action. You are structured, results-oriented, and willing to challenge existing ways of working when you see an opportunity to create a better outcome. Personal qualities are important to us.
